Description

In this six-day chair workshop for advanced levels, students will learn to create back posts with a double “S” bend for a comfortable back support. The chair has five bent back slats and sculpted arm rests. The arms are joined with a mortise to the extended front posts and with a tenon inserted into the rear posts. Blind “fox wedges” are among the advanced techniques utilized in this construction. This is an advanced level workshop. Tuition: $925.
