KERFGREEN is an environmentally friendly version of KerfKore, a bendable substrate and panel product used primarily for radius work. The product has a NAF (no-added formaldehyde) core and qualifies for credits under the LEED green building rating system. It allows for horizontal- or vertical-grade laminates, metals, two-ply and phenolic-backed veneers to be laminated flat and then cold formed into virtually any shape without stress cracks, delaminating or telegraphing, according to the manufacturer. Safety Speed Cut adds edgebander line

Safety Speed Cut is offering two edgebanders (hot air and glue pot) that were formerly sold by Anderson Mfg. of Canada. Except for new Safety Speed Cut labels, the two American-made machines are basically the same as the Anderson products. Safety Speed Cut may make some changes or additions to the machines down the line, but nothing specific is planned at this time.
