Sunhill Machinery, a manufacturer and importer of woodworking machines, is now selling the Joint-Mate line of jointer feeders from Co-Matic Machinery Co. of Taiwan. Billed as the first jointer feeders in the world, the three models are designed to provide consistent results, production efficiency and added safety. A variable-speed jointer feeder is available for 6" and 8" jointers, while four-speed jointer feeders are offered for 8" to 14" jointers and 12" to 20" jointers.

For years, the Micro Fence Vacuum Center Assembly has provided the pneumatic clamping ability for the company’s ellipse jig and circle jig. The company recently introduced a switch and remote 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" pods to the system, which expands the clamping capabilities to include larger work pieces of a variety of materials.

Steel City Tool Works is sticking with its theme of “Welcome to the Stone Age” with the introduction of a granite lower wheel on its Deluxe 14" band saw. Granite was first introduced as the top surface for the company’s 10" table saw, and later added as the material for the beds and fences of its 6" and 8" jointers. Within the last year, the 14" Deluxe band saw started sporting a granite table.
