Akhurst will feature the new Marinus Powermax, an advanced high-speed end matcher as well as defect cut off saw with optimizing capability, at IWF 2014.
The machine is designed for end matching wood flooring or paneling material up to 12-1/4” wide. An operator marks defects on the material, which is detected by a photo eye and cut out. Optimizing between the cut marks can also be accomplished from a pre-set cut list, if desired, according to the company.
The company also says the Powermax’s advanced servo system allows for superior throughput capacity which is unmatched in the industry.
For information, visit Akhurst at Booth No. 6560 at IWF.
