Osai presents new servo-drives for brushless motors

Osai USA will present its most recent innovation at IWF, the Open Drive OD700 servo-drives for brushless motors.

“These EtherCAT servo-drives integrate perfectly with Osai’s Open Control family,” the company said in a statement. “They complete the EtherCat supply of flexible and open CNC systems that are equipped with numerous fieldbus capabilities to handle complex operating challenges and strong customizations.

“Open Drive OD700 is ideal for metal working machine tools, plasma, oxy-fuel, water-jet, laser cutting, wood and stone machining systems,” added Ivica Simunic, the company’s national sales manager. “Open Drive ensures precision and reliability for the most challenging applications.”

Six Open Drive models are available.
