Stiles Machinery will devote more than 6,000 sq. ft. of its nearly 26,000-sq.-ft. exhibition space to solid-wood processing technologies for manufacturing profiles and moldings, furniture components, cabinet doors, millwork and flooring at IWF.
Stiles will be performing daily cabinet profiling demonstrations to showcase the latest technology advancements in solid-wood processing on its line of Kentwood molders and rip saws.
Technologies include the Kentwood M609XA molder, designed for fast and easy setups, and ideal for the shop that makes short runs often, and the Kentwood R450S M3 moving blade ripsaw with Advantage Rip One feeding table with a pivoting nLine laser to increase part identification, pre-programmable cutting patterns and the ability to handle boards of nearly any size, according to the company.
Also operating on the show floor will be the System TM Opti-Kap 5000 cross-cutting system, featuring Microtec’s Goldeneye defect scanning and optimization technology.
Stiles will also showcase the Ironwood SDP2500 double surface planer offering a heavy-duty dual sided planning solution with an advanced helical cutting system for smooth and quiet cutting operations.
