The Architectural Woodwork Institute Education Foundation provided a $20,000 grant to help WoodLINKS USA continue its mission of developing programs and educating students about careers in the Wood Industry.
“AWI has been a longtime supporter of WoodLINKS USA and we are grateful for their continued support,” WoodLINKS USA president Patrick Molzahn said in a statement. “As the manufacturing sector expands, the need for skilled workers is becoming even greater. AWI’s contribution will help ensure our organization can continue to supply the industry with a knowledgeable labor pool.”
The Architectural Woodwork Institute is a nonprofit trade association founded in 1953. It represents nearly 4,000 members consisting of architectural woodworkers, suppliers, design professionals and students from around the world.
