AWI sets convention schedule

The Architectural Woodwork Institute has scheduled its 61st annual convention Oct. 9-11 at the Hilton Orlando in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The conference will feature education and networking opportunities. Alan Beaulieu will provide an economic outlook for the industry, while Stiles Machinery sales manager Gary Wernlund will deliver a technology update.

Other scheduled topics include “DeWalt Power Tools: The Inside Story;” “A Look Behind the Scenes with General Contractors,” and “Behind the Scenes at the Architects Office.”

Events include an honors and recognition luncheons, the president’s dinner and local plant tours.
