C.R. Onsrud starts new building
C.R. Onsrud, a CNC manufacturing company based in Troutman, N.C., broke ground in March for the construction of a new 67,000-sq.-ft. building.
“Our expansion in North Carolina is a testament to our commitment to American Manufacturing and creating jobs in the United States. We are proud to be a part of the American manufacturing resurgence,” Jeff Onsrud, the company’s director of sales and business development, tells Woodshop News.

The new construction is part of a multi-phase project that includes adding 9,900 sq. ft. to the existing machine shop and purchasing new equipment. The project represents a $17 million reinvestment into the business. The new building is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2024.
