Cabinet sales for April 2016 increased 6.7 percent compared to sales for April 2015, according to Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s monthly Trend of Business Survey.
Stock cabinet sales increased 4.2 percent, semicustom sales increased 8.5 percent and custom sales increased 10.6 percent.
The year-to-date sales show an increase of 6.5 percent with stock sales up 7.5 percent, semi-custom sales up 5.2 percent, and custom sales up 9.1 percent.
Survey participants include stock, semicustom and custom companies whose combined sales represent approximately 70 percent of the kitchen cabinet and bath vanity market.
