CERF+, a program of the Craft Emergency Relief Fund, increased its emergency grant and loan levels.
The maximum emergency grant increases to $2,500 and the maximum no-interest emergency quick loan rises to $4,000. CERF+'s Phoenix Loan program will remain at $8,000.
"We are very pleased to be able to increase the amount of our emergency relief financial assistance and we thank our many annual donors (with contributions that range from $5 to $50,000) for their commitment to our work and support of craft artists' careers," says Cornelia Carey, executive director of CERF+, in a news release.
Craft artists facing career-threatening emergencies can apply for relief assistance by contacting the CERF+ office at 802-229-2306 or by visiting http://craftemergency.org/programs/relief.
