The Cabinet Makers Association has scheduled two daylong seminars May 7 near Kansas City, Kan., and San Diego.
Kevin Ward, owner of Award Designs in Winter Haven, Fla., will deliver the keynote address at the first seminar in Baldwin City, Kan. He will focus on methods and procedures to not only survive, but thrive in today's economy. During the last couple of years in the depressed central Florida market, Ward has grasped and executed a number of winning strategies that allowed his operation to grow while other area shops were struggling and closing their doors, according to the CMA.
Eric Lehmann of Innovative Wholesale Fabricators in Islandia, N.Y., will start the second seminar in Romona, Calif., delivering his no-nonsense approach to closing more sales. Eric has addressed dozens of regional woodworking shows as well as the big summer shows in Atlanta and Las Vegas to overflow crowds.
