Dura Supreme Holds A Unique Event

Dura Supreme Cabinetry recently celebrated its 31st annual Kid’s Switch Day with a record-sized class of 30 students.

Dura Supreme Cabinetry recently celebrated its 31st annual Kid's Switch Day with a record-sized class of 30 students.

“What started out as a Cub Scout project in the early 1990s, November of 1992, is now a highly anticipated company event every year,” the company said in a release. “Each year fifth graders who are children or grandchildren of a Dura Supreme employee have the opportunity to participate in the event.

“The day is filled with fun educational games, a factory tour of the Dura Supreme factory where they learn first-hand what their parents and grandparents do each day, discuss what it means to be a good employee, learn about manufacturing and cabinet making, movie time, and more. The day wraps up with a hands-on activity where each child gets to build their own cabinet to take home as a keepsake to remember their day at Dura Supreme.”
