Festool adds TXS cordless drill

Festool USA is introducing the new TXS cordless drill, a compact T-handle design that weighs just under two pounds.

Features include a built-in fuel gauge, LED work light, four-bit magnetic storage, removable reversible belt clip, high and low speeds and multiple-position clutch. It is compatible with Festool system accessories like Centrotec drill bits.

“The TXS is so light and compact, that it feels like an extension of the user’s hand,” Festool USA chief sales and marketing officer Steve Rangoussis said in a statement. “It provides all the features professional users want in a cordless drill while providing the ideal solution for drilling and driving in tight spaces, especially when used with the optional right-angle chuck.”
