Glacial adds wood blank options

Glacial Wood Products recently expanded its product line to include more than 250 wood blank options.

“In recent years, there has been a growing demand for wood blanks,” Glacial Wood Products Dick Johnson said in a statement. “For years we’ve been making high-quality blanks for our own manufacturing needs, now we’ve made them available to everyone.”

The blanks are offered in a variety of species and styles including square-turning blanks, blanks for stairs, butcher block blanks and flat panel blanks.

“For furniture manufacturers, cabinetmakers, builders and crafters, half the challenge is starting with good pieces of wood,” said Johnson. “This allows them to save time in pre-production work and focus their energy on creating”.
