Grizzly Industrial announces the return of its Tent Sale to Springfield, Mo, after a five-year hiatus.
“We’re thrilled to bring this event back to the community,” the company said in a statement.
“This iconic event, which in past years has attracted thousands of woodworking and metalworking enthusiasts from across the country, promises to be bigger than ever this year with the addition of a second full day of activities including demonstrations by industry experts, and a special presentation from the stars of NPR’s popular woodworking series Woodsmith TV.
The centerpiece of the weekend event will be the Grizzly Tent Sale offering hundreds of “as-is” and “scratch-and-dent” tools and machines.
“We ship hundreds of wood and metalworking machines every business day,” explains Grizzly General Manager Jack Blackburn. “Inevitably, some get damaged in the process. These are often minor blemishes or small imperfections. We can’t sell them as new, but for anyone who is willing to make the repairs themselves or put up with a few dents and scratches, this is an amazing opportunity to outfit your shop with quality tools at a bargain price.”
The Grizzly Tent Sale will take place on Sept. 14 in the parking lot of the Grizzly Industrial warehouse at 1815 West Battlefield Road in Springfield, Mo.
Customer Appreciation Day will follow on Sept. 13, featuring several product demonstrations from industry experts including Logan Wittmer, Editor in Chief of Popular Woodworking, and Phil Huber, co-host of Woodsmith TV.
