Hitachi recognized for top sales for third straight year

Hitachi Power Tools was recognized for the third year in a row for highest sales by brand with Sphere 1 members, a cooperative of independent tool and fastener distributors.

Sphere 1 members distribute products used in residential and multi-family construction. The Hitachi brand resonates extremely well within this segment based on the long-standing reputation of its durable and dependable line of pneumatic nailers and staplers, the company said in a statement.

“This award represents a long and lasting partnership commitment by the entire Hitachi team and our growing Sphere 1 membership which is now 650-plus locations strong,” Sphere 1 CEO Carol Shackelford said. “Hitachi is positioned as a top branded contender in 2015 and we look forward to growing our business with their fine organization.”
