Irwin Tools, founder of National Tradesmen Day, is seeking entries for its second annual Nominate a Tradesman contest.
“We first launched this contest in 2015 and love that it gives communities an opportunity to join us in celebrating the trade professionals who make a positive difference in each of our lives,” Irwin vice president of marketing Nick Mastrone says.
Each month, one nominated tradesperson will be selected to win up to $200 in Irwin tools. One grand-prize winner will receive a 2016 Ford F-150 4x4 SuperCrew Cab truck, Irwin tools and a trip for two to attend a ceremony at Irwin’s headquarters in Huntersville, N.C.
The nominating process requires a short essay explaining why the entrant has a made a difference in his or her community. The entry deadline is June 30.
“Irwin Tools has always looked for different ways to honor the men and women who play a critical role in building and maintaining our country’s infrastructure, beginning with National Tradesmen Day five years ago and now with our nationwide Nominate a Tradesman contest. We look forward to reading the submissions and continuing to celebrate all that trade professionals do to contribute so meaningfully to our lives,” Mastrone adds.
National Tradesmen Day will be celebrated on Sept. 15. For information, visit www.irwin.com.
