Komo Machines Inc. has relocated its corporate headquarters to Lakewood, N.J., and its manufacturing facility to Nanjing, China. Previously based in Sauk Rapids, Minn., the New Jersey facility is the new home to the parts and service department, an application training center, as well as the sales, marketing, engineering and administrative divisions.
"We will continue to design, engineer and provide hardware and software sales and service support from the USA as we have over the years by utilizing the same group of talented people that have made Komo a leading brand," says Mike Kolibas, Komo president in a company press release.
"We've maintained a strong manufacturing presence in China since September of 2005 and for the last few years Komo China has fabricated quality parts and successfully built machines currently in operation in the USA. The Komo USA team of engineers and technicians are working closely with the Komo China team to provide on-site hands-on supervision in China as our machines are being built. This supervision insures that USA assembly standards are met and will result in continued excellent Komo machine quality for our customers."
