The annual LIGNA Hannover woodworking trade fair will take place May 18-22, 2009, at the Hannover Exhibition Center in Hannover, Germany. The keynote theme will be “Making more out of wood: Technology for resource efficiency.”

The international show is directed at members of the woodworking, wood processing and forestry industries. Exhibitors from around the globe will showcase wood as a raw material in all its shapes and forms and unveil the latest timber and forestry technologies.

The 2007 LIGNA show featured 1,832 exhibitors, 1.4 million-sq.-ft. of net exhibition space and 107,279 visitors from 92 nations.
