Colonial Saw held a contest this summer that offered a Striebig 5’ x 10’ Compact vertical panel saw as the prize.
Contestants had to articulate why they needed the saw to help their business and use Instagram to demonstrate how the saw would improve the way they manufacture.
Greene St. Joinery of Keansburg, N.J., co-owned by Jeff Krug Rob Barrone, was the winner.
“We look forward to seeing their future projects using their new Striebig panel saw. Although we received some great entries, we could only choose one winner. Greene Street Joinery checked all the boxes, and we are pleased to announce them as the winner,” according to a statement from Colonial Saw.
“We have a few kitchens coming up where it will really shine,” says Krug. “We’re excited to see how quickly we can break down 20-plus sheets of plywood as well as the decrease in operator fatigue we should notice.
“We’re still in shock that we were chosen as the lucky winners and can’t thank Colonial Saw enough. [Product manager] Dave Bull is an amazing teacher and is clearly the ultimate Striebig guru.”
