Woodpeckers has introduced the 12-in-1 Tool based on the Hutchison Mfg. Co.’s tool of the same name. It consists of two scales connected to each other with a thumbwheel.

“With precision-machined grooves and high contrast markings, you can align the two scales in different configurations to perform 12 essential layout and measurement functions. On top of all that, the tool folds up and stores conveniently in your pencil pocket,” the company explained.

“Two sets of close-tolerance grooves in the base scale capture the adjustable scale dead square when using the 12-in-1 as a try square, T-square, or a marking gauge. The center grooves align the adjustable scale which then slides to gauge depth or measure circle diameters. The thumbwheel firmly locks the two scales at any angle for use as a bevel gauge, protractor, or divider. Laser-engraved scale markings give you settings for common miters and acute or obtuse angles in 15-degree increments. Connect the grooves in the two rounded ends to make a full 12" rule. And, with the two scales parallel, the 12-in-1 can be used for inside measurements or a compass.”

The 12-in-1 Tool sells for $49.99. Learn more at woodpeck.com.
