New cordless compressor from DeWalt

DeWalt is introducing the Flexvolt 2.5-gallon cordless air compressor, model DCC2560.

“For the user that wants to leverage their existing pneumatic tools, the compressor is a compact, portable, and lightweight choice at only 21.5 pounds without a battery,” the company said in a statement. “The compressor achieves up to 1,220 nails per charge using one 6.0-Ah Flexvolt battery (model DCB606) and a DeWalt 18-guage brad nailer (DWFP12233). The compressor maintains speed during a variety of finish applications including molding, baseboards, door and window casing work, deck lattice, as well as cabinet and furniture projects.”

The compressor features a brushless motor paired with an oil-free pump.

It also features the OneTurn regulator for fast and accurate pressure adjustment, according to the company.

The compressors sells in a kit with a battery and charger.
