New cordless compressor from Makita

Makita introduces the cordless XGT 2-gallon Quiet Series compressor, model AC001GM1, for interior trim and other indoor applications.

“Makita air compressors are favorites for their faster recovery time, lower noise, longer tool life, and consistent performance,” the company said in a statement. “The 40-volt max XGT brushless, 2-gallon, Quiet Series compressor kit (4.0Ah) can drive up to 700 finish nails using a fully charged 40-volt XGT 4.0Ah battery. The AC001GM1 will drive up to 1,400 finish nails using a fully charged 40-volt XGT 8.0Ah battery.

“Convenience features include a complete roll-cage construction that provides protection to withstand a variety of job site, transporting, and storage environments. It features an oil-free pump for maintenance-free operation, a lever-handle tank drain for easy air tank release, and large pressure gauges for easier visibility of tank and hose pressure.”
