New Cordless Jig Saw From Makita

Makita U.S.A. has released the 18-volt LXT barrel grip jig saw, model XVJ05, offering faster cutting speeds and a lightweight design, according to the company.

“The new 18-volt LXT brushless barrel grip jig saw is another great addition to our expanding cordless woodworking tools,” Rudy Jansen, the company’s product marketing manager for residential construction, said in a statement.

“Like its D-handle counterpart (model XVJ04Z), this barrel grip design maintains a lightweight ergonomic design while its Makita-built brushless motor offers fast cutting speeds.”

Features also include three orbital settings, variable-speed control, and a tool-less blade change system.
