New drum top vacuum from Nilfisk

Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums will present a new drum top vacuum designed for large capacity collection at the STAFDA annual conference and trade show, which runs Nov. 8-10 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

The drum top vacuum, model VHS 255, converts any 30- or 55-gallon drum into a large capacity, industrial-strength vacuum cleaner.

“Ideal for bulk hazmat recovery, spill cleanup and general plant maintenance, the VHS 255 meets cleaning challenges with dry, wet, or wet/dry combinations,” the company said in a statement.

The vacuum features two independent bypass motors and a preventative float chamber to stop liquid collection when capacity is reached.

The VHS 255 drum top vacuum is a redesigned model, replacing the discontinued GWD 255. A drum and dolly are sold separately.
