New dust collectors from Laguna Tools

Laguna Tools announces upgrades to its lineup of C Flux and P Flux cyclones and the upcoming launch of its new X Flux 5 dust collector.

The X Flux 5 is a stationary, single-stage dust collection unit with a 39-gallon drum on locking castors. The company’s official launch date is Feb. 18. It will sell for $4,499.

“The all-new X Flux 5 boasts a powerful 5-hp motor and impressive 1823 cfm,” the company said in a statement. “Auto-cleaning of the HEPA filter is accomplished by double-paddles that sweep the filter every three minutes of system use in a clockwise and counterclockwise action. Remote and LED drum light are standard.”

Upgrades to the C Flux cyclone dust collectors include a dual-paddle filter cleaning design and a 46-gallon capacity on the C Flux 2 and 3 models. An auto-cleaning feature is now standard for the P Flux.
