New woodworking school opens in Maine
William Francis Brown, a long-time member of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers, is starting a new woodworking, furniture making and carving school, The Maine Coast Workshop, in Camden Maine.
William Francis Brown, a long-time member of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers, is starting a new woodworking, furniture making and carving school, The Maine Coast Workshop, in Camden Maine.
The focus will be 18-century woodworking projects, hand-tool techniques, and classical carving.
Instructors for 2020 include British author, former Fine Woodworking editor, and hand-tool expert Graham Blackburn; Russian carver Alexander Grabovetskiy, Peter McKenna, owner of the Nautical Arts Workshop in Deep River, Conn.; SAPFM Cartouche winners Ray Journigan and Alf Sharp, and Matt Kenney.
