Woodpeckers introduces its new Xpander Clamp System. Based on an invention by Izzy Swan, the Xpander connects four parallel jaw clamps to an accordion-like base. As the assembly expands and collapses, the four clamps stay evenly spaced, according to the company.
“The Xpander works with all popular brands of parallel jaw clamps,” the company explains. “There are two sizes, one for 24" to 40" clamps ($139.99) and one for 40" to 50" clamps ($209.99). Set screws quickly and securely connect your clamps to the Xpander. The full range of any clamp is available because the clamp’s sliding head can be placed inside or outside the connecting brackets.”
