The staff at Woodshop News has been busy over the last several months creating a new Web site. The “launch” has been completed, and it’s something to see.
The new Woodshop News Web site — www.woodshopnews.com — has been completely redesigned, combining both form and function. It’s compatible with all browsers and has a search feature, which makes it easy to find a recently published story from our magazine.
It has full functionality in terms of managing your subscription, contacting advertisers and reaching the staff at the magazine — either by phone or e-mail.
The site features two blogs — Over the Workbench by A.J. Hamler and This Business about Woodworking by David DeCristoforo — providing tips, techniques and opinions for the professional woodworker. There’s also a forum to post questions and get answers for a specific problem, or simply “shoot the breeze” with other woodworkers.
The site will be updated on a regular basis, so check back often to get the news that matters to professional woodworkers.
And finally, if there’s something missing from our site, contact me directly. The site will always be a work in progress to meet the needs of you, our reader.
