Rockler Woodworking & Hardware announced the winners of its #RocklerDeskChallenge in January, a contest that called for desks designed for working and learning at home. There were 575 entries.
Max Poindexter of Keizer, Ore. finished first by making, then donating, 99 desks in about 100 hours.
Blake Hernandez of Glenview, Ill. and Mike Muldoon of Elmira, N.Y. placed second and third, respectively.
Judges were Youtubers Mike Montgomery of Modern Builds, and Chris Salomone and Ben Uyeda of The Modern Maker Podcast.
