Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has announced its newest nationwide social media challenge.
The #RocklerTryThatChallenge calls on passionate woodworkers of all ages, skill levels, and areas of expertise to step outside of their comfort zones and try something new, according to national retailer of woodworking tools and supplies.
“Woodworkers are a creative group and we’re hoping this challenge will inspire people to try new woodworking projects that they’ve had on their bucket list,” says Wade Mattson, Rockler;s vice president of marketing. “Whether it’s new materials that they’ve never worked with, or a new tool to learn and put to use, this is a great opportunity for woodworkers to dive into new areas of woodworking.”
Participants of the challenge must track their project’s progress on Instagram and post their final product, using the hashtag #RocklerTryThatChallenge. The entries will be judged by pro woodworkers Chris Salomone and Shaun Boyd. The challenge is active now, and all entries must be posted by December 31.
