Rockler Woodworking and Hardware is set to open its new flagship store Aug. 24 in Maplewood, Minn., featuring more than 10,000 sq. ft. of retail space.

The store at 1870 Beam Ave. will also feature a large, glass-enclosed demonstration area.

“We hope to create an environment where both the beginner and the advanced woodworker will feel comfortable; whether they are starting or completing their project. Woodworking can be intimidating, and our top priority is to ensure the customers that visit us have the tools necessary to complete their job, and a large part of that is skill development. We feel the workshop gives us that ability,” Rockler vice president and general manager of retail Mike Dugan said in a statement.
