Rockler Woodworking and Hardware announced an agreement with Laguna Tools to be the first U.S. retailer to market and distribute stationary power tools from the California-based manufacturer.

Laguna products will be available in Rockler stores and through its website, Rockler.com, starting this month.

"We are thrilled to offer the legendary quality of Laguna power tools to our woodworking customers, and to help Laguna expand their presence across the country," Rockler CEO Ann Rockler Jackson says in a news release. "Laguna has a solid reputation for unmatched quality and innovation, which compliments Rockler's 56-year tradition of offering unique, high-quality products to woodworkers."

According to Rockler Jackson, the first products available through Rockler will include 14", 16" and 18" band saws, a 2- and 3-hp cyclone dust collector, a new hybrid cabinet saw, and a 3-hp cast iron top cabinet saw.

"Our formal business association with Rockler is a win-win for woodworkers who will benefit from two companies that share similar values, history and a passion for providing exemplary customer service," said Catherine Helshoj, vice president of Laguna Tools. "For more than 25 years, the Laguna Tools brand has been synonymous with technologically-advanced equipment offered at affordable prices. We're very selective about our business alliances and we're proud to affiliated with such an outstanding organization."
