Second Emmy nomination for Rough Cut

“Rough Cut: Woodworking with Tommy Mac,” a WGBH Boston public television production, was nominated for the second Daytime Emmy Award in its two-season history.

During the show’s first season, executive producer Laurie Donnelly was nominated for outstanding directing in a lifestyle/culinary program category.

“It’s humbling to receive a second Emmy Award nomination for Rough Cut,” Donnelly said in a statement. “I feel honored that we’re enriching our viewers’ experience through hands-on DIY education and entertainment in each half hour segment, and look forward to doing so for years to come.”

Winners will be announced in June.
