Seven companies win Challengers Award at IWF 2010

The winners of the Challengers Award competition for woodworking product innovation were announced Aug. 25 on the show floor at IWF.

The winners are:

? Benz Inc. for the Reciprocating Knife Cutter, designed to give a new level of versatility to a C-axis-equipped CNC machine. Using a standard spoil board to hold material, the unit can cut fabrics, leather, veneers, rubber, carpet, cork, vinyl and other similar products. Visit www.benz-inc.com.

? ETP Transmission Inc. for the ETP Cubit adjustable system for profiling. The system is particularly relevant to cutting tongue and groove in the manufacture of flooring.
