ShopBot Tools, a manufacturer of CNC routers, is holding an open house at its Durham, N.C., facility during the Oct. 5-7 NexGen Event.
The open house will feature demonstrations, training and consulting.
"ShopBot asked to participate in the event, but we were turned down. We believe that any technology tour of the 'next generation of woodworking technology' in the Carolinas should include truly progressive automation tools that address the needs of efficient lean and cell based manufacturing," says company president Ted Hall.
"We would like to make all woodworking visitors to North Carolina aware of our own, ShopBot LEAP Event (Lean, Efficient, Alternative, Production methods) that will be held concurrently and so provide additional, useful opportunities and options for visitors to the area."
