Stiles conducting contest to win a free CNC router

Stiles Machinery has launched the Weeke Vantech Video Contest, allowing a lucky winner to use a Weeke Vantech 480 router free for one year.

Contestants need to submit a creative video by Sept. 10 convincing Stiles that they deserve to win. Stiles is looking for a first-time CNC router user. All videos will be posted on YouTube and are open to voting until Oct. 1. The winner will receive the machine and a camcorder to document online their experiences with the machine.

"We want other companies to see what's involved in using this technology and the importance of ongoing support services, as well as to see how versatile and flexible the Weeke Vantech is," says Stephan Waltman, Stiles' vice president of sales and marketing, "There really is no end to how effective a shop can be when using a quality CNC router. Using video in this creative fashion is a unique approach in our industry. I hope people have some fun with it."
