Techniks Industries acquires Riverside Tool

Techniks Industries, a provider of tooling solutions for the metalworking and woodworking industries, acquired Riverside Tool Corp. in Elkhart, Ind.

Riverside is a manufacturer of PCD/carbide cutting and sanding tools.

“The acquisition of Riverside Tool to Techniks Industries portfolio helps fulfill our strategic goals of extending our sales and service networks, adding new products to our solutions offerings, and improving operational efficiencies,” Techniks Industries president and CEO Greg Webb said in a statement.

Techniniks also owns NapGladu, a manufacturer of diamond and carbide cutting tools, and RKO Saw, a manufacturer of PCD and carbide-tipped saw blades.
