The Art Commission, the online platform that connects artists who create commissioned artwork with design and art professionals, announced the launch of the CoD+A Awards: Collaboration of Design + Art.

The CoD+A Awards are open to all individuals involved in the collaborative process of creating spaces. Awards in eight categories will honor the designers, architects, artists, and art professionals whose collective imaginations create the public and private spaces that inspire us daily. The award categories are: commercial, healthcare, hospitality, institutional, landscape, liturgical, public spaces, and residential.

Jurors include Kevin Lippert, publisher of Princeton Architectural Press; Richard Marcus, former CEO of Neiman Marcus; Michael Monroe, former director of the Renwick Museum; Carol Sauvion, producer of Craft in America series on PBS; Sanford Smith, producer of New York’s premiere art shows, and Barbara Tober, chair of Museum of Art & Design.

The CoD+A Awardwinners will be announced in August. Deadline for entries is May 31. Full details are available at www.codaawards.com.
