Tormek adds rotating base accessory

Tormek unveiled a rotating base, model RB-180, for its sharpening systems.

The base rotates 180 degrees to obtain the ideal sharpening direction. It also makes it simple to switch from sharpening to honing. The base was designed to be as thin as possible so as not to affect the working height, while rubber feet ensure it remains steady during sharpening, according to the company.

The base fits the Tormek T-7, T-3, 2000 and 1200 series, and the SA-250 and N-1500 sharpeners. It retails for $55.
