Two-day kiln-drying meeting on tap

The Southeastern Dry Kiln Club scheduled a technical session on Oct. 26-27 at Haywood Community College in Waynesville, N.C.

The event includes presentations by:

• Alan Robbins: “Fans and fan systems: Do you have enough air?”

• Mike Freeman: “Sapstain and sapstain prevention”

• Phil Mitchell: “Using differential shrinkage to estimate cupping, and other software”

Other events include a troubleshooting session and plant tours of Oaks Unlimited in Waynesville, N.C. and Canton Sawmill in Canton, N.C.
