Würth Baer acquires Akins Machinery

Würth Baer Supply Co., a division of Würth Craft Line North America, recently completed the acquisition of Akins Machinery Inc. in Londonderry, N.H.

Akins, a full service SCM Group North America dealer, service support center and machinery rebuild house, has been servicing the Northeast woodworking market for over 20 years.

“We are very excited about this new development especially since Dick Akins and his entire team will continue to run the business with the strategic support and backing of Würth Baer Supply Company,” vice president John Geraghty said in a statement.

Würth Baer Supply Co. has also opened service distribution facilities in Oak Park, Mich., and Leetsdale, Pa.
