Wood-Mizer dedicates new showroom

Wood-Mizer Products Inc., a portable sawmill manufacturer, dedicated the Steve Clark Showroom in honor of its late president.

Clark, who died Jan. 17, served as president for Wood-Mizer Products for six years until 2009 when he took a leave of absence for illness, although he had been with the company since 1986.

Wood-Mizer, an employee-owned company, dedicated its new 17,000-sq.-ft. showroom in Clark's memory during a private ceremony that was attended by employees and Clark's family. The showroom features live demonstrations of several of the company's portable sawmills, stationary industrial sawmills, material handling equipment, Multihead resaws and the new Small Log Processing system.
