Woodcraft acquires Japan Woodworker

Woodcraft Supply LLC purchased Japan Woodworker, a California-based retailer of woodworking equipment and supplies.

Japan Woodworker products can now be purchased from Woodcraft’s 75 retail stores throughout the country, website and catalogs.

“Our two companies share many similarities,” Woodcraft president Jody Garrett said in a statement. “Both of our companies have built strong brands and we both pride ourselves in providing professional quality woodworking tools and exceptional customer service. The two companies are a good fit and Woodcraft will continue to give Japan Woodworker customers the quality service provided by the retiring owners, Fred and Sally Damsen.”
