Woodshop News writer wins award

Staff writer Jennifer Hicks won an Apex award of excellence for her September 2011 cover story on Custom Cabinets by Jim Bucko Inc.

The 24th annual awards program recognizes excellence in publications’ work by professional communicators.

Hicks, who also won an Apex award last year for a profile of W. Patrick Edwards, was recognized in the feature-writing category.
