AP Lazer, a manufacturer and distributor of CNC laser machines, has introduced a new entry-level laser machine, the AP Lazer SN2616LR, that can engrave a variety of wood products from lightweight sheets of material to large and bulky items including furniture, doors, floors, and more.

The new laser machine provides entrepreneurs with the ability to expand in the rapidly accelerating and profitable ‘emotional’ marketplace, according to the company.

“For woodworkers from professionals to hobbyists, the opportunities are large. As global supply chain chaos continues, retailers are seeking locally made products. Millennials are also becoming the dominating force in the housing market, with personalized home furnishing and decor in high demand. Our new entry-level AP Lazer SN2616LR workhorse provides a net to capture those opportunities,” Tong Li, AP Lazer CEO and inventor of the machine, tells Woodshop News.

The machine features 60-watt CO2 laser power with a 26” x 16” cutting and engraving area and a carriage footprint of 4.9’ x 3.1’. Its patented open architecture and low rider carriage cart with electronic adjustable Z-axis allow it to move quickly from its standard position to the floor with the press of a button, according to the company.

Accessories include a mechanical lift cart with 660-pound capacity for rolling items beneath the laser head, a rotary table for engraving cylindrical objects, a laptop and LightBurn Software for design, layout and editing, and more.

The AP Lazer SN2616LR sells for $19,995.
