Bosch’s new FlexiClick 5-in-1 drill/driver, dubbed the Chameleon, offers the versatility pros need on the jobsite, according to the company.

“The 18-volt FlexiClick builds on the success of our 12-volt model, delivering outstanding versatility in a brushless, compact, high-quality drill/driver. With a variety of attachments, the user is ensured that they can get into tight workspaces and very close to edges,” says Bosch product manager Will Shiel.

The base FlexiClick has a 1/4” hex bit holder with quick release. It’s sold in a kit with three accessories, including a 1/2” right-angle chuck, offset angle and 1/2” metal chuck attachments.

The right-angle chuck and offset angle attachments can be rotated in 16 different positions.

A fourth attachment, sold separately, turns the tool into an SDS-Plus rotary hammer

The Chameleon also features Bosch’s Kickback Control, an acceleration sensor that limits tool rotation by shutting down the motor when it detects sudden movement. This function mitigates injury risk during bind-up situations, according to Bosch.

The FlexiClick is Bluetooth compatible with the optional GCY30-4 Connectivity Tool Module installed. This allows users to link the drill/driver to the free Bosch Toolbox app.

The Bosch 18-volt FlexiClick drill/driver kit sells for $299 with a 4.0 Ah battery and charger.
