Bosch Power Tools introduces the new 18-volt 5-1/2’’ track saw, model GKT18V-20GCL, as part of its new “high-power” Profactor lineup.

“Featuring easy, precise adjustment and track guidance systems, the GKT-18V20GCL delivers exact end-to-end and plunge cuts,” the company said in a statement.

“Additionally, the saw features an ‘ECO’ mode for up to 30 percent extended battery runtime for more cuts, onboard control module and connected-ready capability. Paired with Bosch’s CORE18V Profactor batteries and the Hell-Ion charger, the track saw delivers maximum power with minimal downtime, getting users back to work faster.”

The onboard control module allows the user to control the saw’s speed and receive feedback from the tool. The tool also connects to the Bosch Toolbox App to customize settings and receive feedback.

Other features include a brushless motor and drive-train system, plunge cut mechanism, and swiveling hose port.

The bare tool sells for $499 with a blade, blade wrench, vacuum hose adapter, dust bag and carrying case. There’s a kit, GKT18-20GCL14, with two batteries, one charger and carrying case, priced at $649. Tracks and other accessories are sold separately.
