Cabinet Vision’s software update produces photo-like images that shops can use as an effective sales tool.

The latest release of Cabinet Vision by Vero Software, Version 11, includes a powerful new photo-rendering engine geared specifically towards the design market. Customers can impress their clients with realistic-looking photos in a single program.

“The significant enhancements to the rendering capabilities will mean that shop owners have a single tool to produce their perfect images, improving the customer experience by showing them exactly what is designed,” says product manager Marie Cassidy.

“Any time used to produce the images is time saved, as all the manufacturing information is contained in the drawings. This means greater efficiency in the shop, and timed saved can then be devoted to other projects or concerns.”

Another key feature allows designers to change material and textures in 3D mode, giving them an immediate impact on the drawing produced.

The update also includes improved and simplified lighting tools to enhance drawings, and an auto-fill feature to add cabinets, for example, with a single mouse click.

Cassidy adds that V11 developers also focused on providing one complete package from the initial design stage through to the product coming off the CNC machine to eliminate human error.

“Cabinet Vision is now an end-to-end solution, producing images of the highest quality, perfect cutlists and machine ready code for almost all machines, along with material lists,” she says.
